WARRANTY AND REPAIR POLICY

3-Month Limited Warranty

1. WARRANTY OVERVIEW

This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of refurbished laptops for a period of three (3) months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

Warranty Period: 90 days from the date of purchase

2. WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers the following defects when they occur under normal use:

  • Hardware component failures (processor, motherboard, RAM, hard drive, SSD)
  • Display malfunctions, dead pixels, from manufacturing defects
  • Keyboard, touchpad, or input device failures
  • Power supply or battery not charging
  • Audio, video, or webcam failures
  • Cooling system (fan) malfunctions

3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does NOT cover the following:

  • Physical damage from drops, misuse, or accidents
  • Liquid or water damage
  • Damage from power surges or electrical issues
  • Cosmetic damage, scratches, or dents that do not affect functionality
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications by third parties
  • Software issues, viruses, or operating system corruption
  • Normal wear and tear (minor scratches, fade, or discoloration)
  • Data loss or recovery (not covered under hardware warranty)

4. WARRANTY REGISTRATION

To validate the warranty, customers must register their laptop within 14 days of purchase:

  1. Visit our website: www.udumancomputers.com/warranty-register
  2. Provide the serial number (found on the bottom of the laptop)
  3. Enter proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or order confirmation)
  4. Complete customer contact information

5. REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PROCESS

5.1 Initial Diagnosis

  2. Provide the serial number and description of the issue
  3. Our technicians will troubleshoot the problem over phone or email

5.2 Repair Options

Depending on the issue, we offer the following options:

  • Remote repair via remote assistance software
  • On-site repair (where applicable)
  • Depot repair (customer ships laptop to repair Center)
  • Replacement unit (if repair is not feasible)

5.3 Shipping and Handling

  • Free prepaid shipping label will be provided for depot repairs
  • Customer is responsible for proper packaging to prevent damage
  • Shipping insurance is recommended for valuable items

7. WARRANTY SERVICE COSTS

All repairs and replacements covered under this warranty are provided at no cost to the customer, including:

  • Parts replacement
  • Labor charges
  • Return shipping for warranty repairs

Note: Non-warranty repairs and out-of-warranty services are subject to separate service fees. Customer will be informed of repair costs before work begins.

8. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

This warranty is void if:

  • The warranty registration is not completed within 14 days of purchase
  • The serial number is removed, altered, or illegible
  • The product has been damaged due to accident, misuse, or abuse
  • Repairs were performed by unauthorized personnel or third parties
  • The product is used in violation of product documentation

9. DATA BACKUP AND PRIVACY

Before sending your laptop for repair:

  1. Back up all personal data and important files
  2. Remove any sensitive personal information
  3. Note that repair may include formatting the hard drive or reinstalling the operating system

Important: We are not responsible for data loss, recovery, or any actions taken on your device during repair.

10. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

This warranty is provided 'AS IS' and is the sole remedy for product defects. THE COMPANY MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
